Your mission
- Design and execute experiments for the synthesis, functionalization, and exfoliation of different carbon based 2D materials, focusing on their integration or deposition onto/into insulating 3D porous structures or wafers.
 - Develop and refine protocols for coating 2D nanomaterials onto/into redox active material containing porous host.
 - Investigate physicochemical interactions between 2D nanomaterials and chalcogenide-based matrices, ensuring electrochemical stability and enhanced battery performance.
 - Utilize advanced characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, XPS, four-probe measurements) to assess coating quality and its effects on thermal, electronic, and mechanical properties.
 - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including material scientists, chemists, electrochemists, and engineers, to further theion’s lithium-sulfur battery innovations.
 - Document and communicate progress, challenges, and findings through detailed technical reports and presentations.
 - Contribute to intellectual property development through novel ideas and IP filings in the field of expertise.
 - Support the scaling and commercialization of theion’s lithium-sulfur battery technology in collaboration with internal teams.
